APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• During MOVE DRMEDIA process, volumes are checked out and updated
  to NOTMOUNTABLE state. If there is a problem that causes the
  MOVE DRMEDIA process to fail, none of the volumes will be
  updated to NOTMOUNTABLE state, even if they have been checked
  out of the library. One problem that can cause MOVE DRMEDIA to
  fail is volumes  being requested by other processes.
  
  The fix in this APAR will allow MOVE DRMEDIA process to update
  volumes to NOTMOUNTABLE if they are checked out.
  
  The root cause for the MOVE DRMEDIA process failure still needs
  to be investigated by the user and take appropriate action.
  
  Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected:
  Tivoli Storage Manager server version 6.x, 7.x

  MOVE DRMEDIA process failure due to problem with checkout
  volumes. For example,
  ANR8442E CHECKOUT LIBVOLUME: Volume xxx in library yyy is
  currently in use.
  ANR1893E Process xxx for MOVE DRMEDIA completed with a
  completion state of FAILURE. (SESSION: xxx, PROCESS: xxx)
