Error description

  • A full VM Instant restore/access operation will time out if more
    than one iSCSI adapter is present on the ESXi host.
    
    In the dsmerror.log of the datamover node the following will be
    seen :

Problem conclusion

  • The TSM client will now correctly identify the first available
    iSCSI adapter on the ESXi host or correctly honor the newly
    documented VMISCSIADAPTER option to select a specific adapter
    when more than one is present.
