Error description

  • If a filespace containing data from a deduplicated storage pool
is deleted, there is the potential for some of the data to be
base chunks for deduplicated chunks that still resides in other
filespaces on the server. Because these base chunks must remain
on the server select from occupancy output still sees them.
However because no filespace exists that owns them from the
original client perspective the output from the select will show
"DELETED" as the filespace name. If the node this data belonged
to was also deleted then the node name in the select occupancy
output will also show "DELETED". Use of this "DELETED" value for
filespace and node names was added with the fix for FIN APAR
IC90010 that was put into the 7.1.0 server level. The Tivoli
Storage Manager documentation needs to be updated to reflect
that fact that at 7.1 and above select from occupancy can return
this "DELETED" value for filespace and nodename under the given
    circumstances.
Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected: 7.1 all platforms

    Initial Impact: Low
Additional Keywords: sql occ table unexpected delete output

file space name DELETED is displayed in the QUERY OCCUPANCY comm
and output until all deduplication dependencies are removed."

    REMOVE NODE
"If you remove a node that included stored data in a deduplicate
d storage pool, the node name DELETED is displayed in the QUERY
OCCUPANCY command output until all deduplication dependencies ar
