IT00679: REPLICATE NODE FAILS TO REPLICATE LARGE FILES WITHOUT INDICATION OF AN ERROR

IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) server V7.1.0.x interim fix downloads

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In an environment configured for node replication, if
  deduplication is  enabled on both  the source and target
  Tivoli Storage Manager Servers, replicating a node
  with a file larger than 10,000 MB will result in only
  part of the file being replicated without any error
  reported.
  
  Restoring a replicated file from the target server
  results in only a portion of the file being retrieved.
  
  Restoring from the source server is not affected.
  
  Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
  
  Issue the following select statements on the source server

  This will show any replicated objects that are affected.
  
  Alternatively, Issuing Q OCC STGPOOL=<pool_name>
  on both the souce and target server will show a large
  discrepancy between the values for "Logical Space Occupied"
