IJ13571: FORECASTED PM RECORDS REPRESENTED IN GRAPHICAL SCHEDULING DON'T TURN RED ON MOVE

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When a Forecast is generated in the Preventive Maintenance
    application and then a schedule
    is created in Graphical Scheduling of that pm record, any
    changes to the segments via a right-click action and
    selecting Move to Next Day the PM record line in the Activity
    section table (left-hand side) does not turn red
    
    
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    Go to PM application and insert new record
    LOcation = BR200
    Go to Frequency Tab, Use Last Work Order's Start Date to
    Calculate Next Due Date=checked,
    Frequency=1, Frequency Units=WEEKS, Estimated Next Due
    Date=today's_date
    Save record
    Change status to ACTIVE
    Click on Forecast tab, make sure the "Reforecast Subsequent
    Dates" flag is checked.
    More Actions<Generate Forecast
    In Generate Forecast dialog box, Forecast Until=date_2_weeks_at
    _least
    Click OK
    Go to Graphical Scheduling and create a Schedule for that PM,
    Calendar=DAY, Shift=DAY
    Under Work Queries click new row, Data Source=PM, Where
    Condition=pmnum like 'PM_NUM'
    Click on Graphical View tab, you should see at least 2 PM
    segments, Zoom out if appropriate
    Find the 1st segment.
    Right-click on it and select menu option Move to Next Day (or
    Move Day)
    
    RESULTS:Segment moves, turns orange (as expected) but the PM
    record line in the Activity section table (left-hand side) does
    NOT turn red
    
    Now using the mouse click on and drag the segment to a different
    date.
    RESULTS:Now the PM record line turns red.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:It should turn red upon any date change.
