Error description

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When using IE and trying to cancel the create file attachment
    twice in a row, the 2nd time you try and cancel the dialog the
    dialog will not close.
    PERFORMANCE ISSUE: YES
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1 - Open Maximo 7.6.1.0, as admin user. make sure you are
    working with Skin IOT18.
    2 - Go to Work order tracking Application and select any
    record that is not closed
    3 - In Work Order main tab, open Attachments button / Add New
    Attachments / Add new File Dialog box and click
    Cancel. (It will let you cancel first time)
    4 - .Open add new attachments, add new file dialog box and
    Cancel.
    It will not Cancel and page hangs
    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
    The Dialog Box Hangs and have to Logout of Maximo
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    Be able to Cancel the Add New file dialog Box
    ACTION TAKEN:
    I have tested with the latest IFIX applied:
    7.6.1.0-IFIX20190102-1330 with a IE browser and was able to
    replicate ( Works fine in Chrome)
