APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • PROBLEM:   The system just refreshes the Scheduler view and
    does not commit the changes.
    
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1 Create a PM in the Preventive Maintenance application e.g. PM
     MAYTEST
    Attach a job plan
    2 Go to the Frequency tab
    Set the Frequency to 1 Day and set the  Estimated Next Due
    Date  to sometime last week so this PM is now due to
    generate
    3 Change the status to ACTIVE
    4 Go to the  Generate Forecast  action and generate
    forecast with a Frequency of 3 days
    5 Go to the Graphical Scheduling application
    Populate all the mandatory required fields
    6 Go to the  Work Queries  section and click  New
    Row  button
    Select the  PM  object as the Data Source
    set the Where Condition as:
    PMNUM='MAYTEST'
    7 Go to the  Graphical View  tab
    8 Right click on the PM record in Gantt Chart and select
     Move to Next Day  option to move the PM forecast to the
    next day
    9 Select  Commit Changes  action
    Click  Yes  to the  Are you sure you want to commit
    Changes  dialog box
    10 Hyperlink to the PM application and go to the Forecast tab
    
    
    RESULTS:  New Date  field has not been populated with the
    new forecast date
    
    
    EXPECT RESULT:  New Date  field should be populated with
    the new forecast date.

    Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1 with Scheduler 7.6.7.1
