  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    Maximo 7.6.09 Everyplace - click on a lookup, dialogbox opens
    up and a portion of screen becomes
    readonly(greyed out), but user can still click or change values
    of fields that are not readonly.
    PERFORMANCE ISSUE: NO
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    In Application Design I duplicated the OOTB Work Order Tracking
    application and checked the
    Mobile checkbox to make it an Everyplace application.
    Steps to reproduce it
    1) Log in Maximo, using the Mobile viewer on Chorme Inspect
    feature.
    Go to WorkOrder Tracking ( MPC ) app. This is the Everyplace
    application we created / cloned.
    2) Opened a work order record and zoom in half way on the
    screen.
    3) Click on a Select Value lookup and noticed the top half of
    screen went read only
    and bottom half of screen did not go read only. I could click
    in a field in the background
    on bottom half of screen only and type in field - I could even
    type alphanumeric in a
    duration field and the field did no validation. However if I
    used pinched to zoom to zoom out
    the entire background went readonly like I would expect. When
    you are using a Select Value
    lookup you are trying to populate a specific field so
    everything else should go readonly.
    IMPORTANT: This can be reproduced using the Chrome Inspect
    feature, no need of a real Ipad device.
    Just need to scroll down the page to see the Editable sections
    at the botton.
