IJ10499: IN THE INVENTORY APPLICATION, REORDER OPTION DEFAULTS TO TRUE WHILE TRANSFERRING ITEM BETWEEN STOREROOMS.

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPLICATE:
    
    1. Go to Item Master application.
    
    2. Create a new Item with any valid number and both Order and
    Issue Units = EACH. Save the record.
    
    3. Change the Item Status to ACTIVE, selecting the option "Roll
    New Status to Organizations and Inventory?".
    
    4. Select Action > Add Items to Storeroom.
    
    5. From Add Items to Storeroom dialog, enter the following and
    click OK:
    BEDFORD Site
    CENTRAL Storeroom
    Unit Cost = 1.00
    Current Balance = 1.00
    
    6. Go to Inventory application.
    
    7. Bring up the Item in question.
    
    8. Go to Reorder Details tab, uncheck the option "Reorder?" and
    save the record.
    
    9. From More Actions, select Transfer Current Item.
    
    10. From Transfer Current Item dialog, enter To Storeroom = PKG
    and click OK.
    
    11. Go to List View tab and select the Item in question from PKG
    Storeroom.
    
    12. With the Item record on the screen, go to Reorder Details
    tab.
    
    RESULTS:
    In the PKG Storeroom, the Item "Reorder?" option is selected.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    In the PKG Storeroom, the Item "Reorder?" option should be
    unchecked.
