APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • PROBLEM:
    POPR MXCOLLAB is not working as expected. Even with PCVALUE
    equals 1, PR still automatically change the STATUS after PO
    creation.
    
    PERFORMANCE ISSUE: No
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    The steps below use MAXDEMO as example:
    1)Turn down MXServer
    2)Go to database and execute the update below:
    update mxcollab set pcvalue=1 where pcid = 'POPR';
    commit;
    3)Turn up MXServer
    4)Go to External Systems application. Search for EXTSYS1.
    Check on Enabled checkbox.
    Go to Publish Channels and enable the Event Listener of
    MXPRInterface.
    5)Go to Purchase Requisitions application. Create a new PR.
    Fill out as below:
    PR: PF88
    Company: ATI
    PRLINES tab:
    Create a new Row.
    Item: VB-512
    Storeroom: CENTRAL
    Quantity: 1
    Save.
    Approve PR.
    Maximo will export a XML of the record.
    6)Go to External Systems application.
    Search for EXTSYS1.
    Import the XML below:

    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
    Status of PR will automatically change to CLOSE after the PO
    creation.
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    Because the PCVALUE of MXCOLLAB for PCID POPR is 1, Maximo
    should avoid any automatically status change of PR.
