IJ08970: SIGOPTION CONDITIONS NOT WORKING

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• PROBLEM:
  sigoption conditions not working after upgrading to 7.6.0.9
  IF007 - The error in the logs is: "Error evaluating sigoption
  READ on the control globalprops_table_1_grid4_7 in the app
  propmaint". Applying IF008 did not help.
  STEPS TO RECREATE:
  1) Via Conditional Expression Manager Application, create a new
  condition:
  - Name: TEST
  - Type: EXPRESSION
  - Expression: :wopriority=1
  - Condition Number: WOPRI
  - Always Evaluate: unchecked
  And another:
  - Name: READ
  - Type: EXPRESSION
  - Expression: :status='APPR'
  - Condition Number: WOSTATUS
  - Always Evaluate: unchecked
  2) Use the existing WOTRACK app via Application Designer
  application.
  3) Go to a TAB header on the WOTRACK App eg Work Order:
  - On the Control Property dialog, click 'Advanced' tab.
  - Signature Option: TEST
  4) On the same dialog:
  - Click "Configure Conditional Property"
  - Add a Security Group, for example "bgred".
  - Add "TEST" condition that was created in step 1 against
  EVERYONE security group.
  - Add the expression :wopriority=1 for WOPRI.
  - When condition is true, property "cssclass" will be defined
  as "bgred".
  - Then save above changes.
  5) Repeat steps 2/3/4 for another SIGOPTION called READ (in
  this case expression is :status='APPR' for WOSTATUS).
  6) Go to Security Group and filter EVERYONE group and grant
  access for sigoption "TEST" and "READ" under the WOTRACK
  application.
  Then save the change.
  7) Logout and login again.
  8) Go to the WOTRACK application and select any WorkOrder
  record.
  9) Click "Work Order" tab which has the sigoption "TEST" or
  "READ" defined, check for any APPR WO and any priority 1.
  RESULTS:
  The Conditional Expression associated with sigoption is not
  firing as the Work Order field is not changing to RED for
  priority 1 and any APPR WO are also not showing as RED.
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  The Condition should be firing and causing the WO field to show
  in RED for priority 1 and RED for any Work Orders in status of
  APPR.
  ENVIRONMENT:
  Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.0.9-IFIX20180724-1144
