APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• PROBLEM:
  
  The Physical Count application is allowing recount to happen on
  obsolete items, this is bypassing Maximo logic which does not
  allow this to happen in the core product.
  
  In core Maximo the following error is displayed, however Maximo
  Anywhere Physical Counts allows for the inventory balance
  transaction to be entered.
  
  BMXAA5471I - This action is not allowed since the item FLT001
  is in OBSOLETE status.
  
  STEPS TO REPLICATE:
  
  1. In Maximo go to the Inventory Application , transfer all the
  items out of FLT001 for the PKG storeroom and mark it Obsolete.
  
  2. Log in to the Anywhere Physical Counts application, download
  the WorkList and Look Up data
  
  3. Click the Recount Icon in the top right of the screen.
  
  4. Search by storeroom
  
  5. Select the Storeroom of the FLT001 Item you changed to
  Obsolete, the record will show.
  
  6. Perform a count on this item.
  
  RESULT:
  
  The inventory balances are updated for FLT001
  
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  
  The transaction to be validated the same as core MAximo and the
  transaction not occur due to the item being obsolete.
