Error description

  • The BigFix agent running on linux installed on systems with EFI
may have problem to extract the DMI table from SMBIOS.
As result every query using DMI inspectors fails with
the error: 'dmi info not found'.
An easy way to detect if a system uses EFI (Extensible Firmware
Interface) is checking the presence of
    "/sys/firmware/efi/systab" or "/proc/efi/systab" file.
