Problem summary
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: During a non-default installation (NDI) a script is generated to run the c++filt tool in the ./bin directory. For legacy reasons, in the generated script a call is made to uname to build a string value that is now unused. Repeated calls to c++filt may have slower performance because of this. USERS AFFECTED: XL C++ users with NDI installations.
Problem conclusion
The generation of the uname call was removed.
