APAR status

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPLICATE:
    1 - Open Maximo application.
    2 - Go to Work Order Tracking Application.
    3 - Click In Advanced Search / More Search Fields, Fill the
    field Class
    to ACTIVITY, click Ok, and then Find.
    4 - Maximo Shows a list of Work Orders, Select any record.
    5 - Go to More Actions Menu/ Create / Communication.
    In the Creation Communication Screen, fill the required field
    Send
    from, Go to Attachments, CLick in Attach File button. Specify a
    file
    and fill the fields name and Description.
    6 -  Click ok.
    ERRONEOUS RESULT:
    All off the fields on Create Communication screen become read
    only and
    the values included in the fields Send from and attachment
    bwcome blank
    and read only. the buttons cancel and Send. Does not work too.
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    User would be able to complete the other screen fields and send
    the
    email.
