Error description

  • In a Tivoli Storage Manager environment where LTO6 drives are
used the following error occurs when mounting/dismounting a tape
 despite all the definitions for Device Class, Drives and
Library being correctly set up:

  The problem is a cosmetic error which produces many
"ANR9999D_3885841786" messages in the activity log.
The tape reads/writes will be performed successfully. This error
comes up when loading/unloading cardridges in  drives.

The problem is caused by the fact that Tivoli Storage Manager
erroneously   forces the  LTO5 format definition to overwrite
the LTO6 format definition for external library
