APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When an application domain is disabled and re-enabled, the
listening port assigned to a Web Application Firewall (WAF) is
no longer listed in the TCP Table. Client requests to the WAF
will fail as they can no longer connect to the WAF port.

Local fix

  • Modify any part of the WAF configuration object and apply the
change. For a simple modification, update the Summary field of
the WAF object and apply. You can then revert the change,
    apply, and save the configuration.

Problem summary

    the TCP table.
