APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Current MOVE DATA and MOVE NODEDATA operations
  will not use next storage pool
  when the top level pool is a sequential pool.
  
  The problem will not occur
  when the top level pool is a DISK Pool.
  
  When higher(top) level destination pool
  runs out of space and when the file being moved
  exceeds the MAXSIZE parameter of the destination pool,
  the operation will  fail with following Error,
  even if next storage pool is defined,
  and has enough space to accommodate MOVE operation:
  "ANR1149W Move data process terminated
  for volume <volumeName>
  - insufficient space in target storage pool"
  
  
  This failure is not dependent with t
  he device type of the storage pool.
  
  Additional diagnostics:
  ACTLOG will show following ERROR during MOVE operation:
  ANR1149W Move data process terminated
  for volume <volumeName>
  - insufficient space in target storage pool
  
  
  
  Platforms affected: All Supported
  Version affected: All Supported
  

Local fix

• "MIGRATE STGPOOL" can be used to move
  the data to the target storage pool.
  Migration will use the next stgpool.
