APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• An SQL Data Source object, under high load when it encounters
  network errors, might switches between Up and Down-Pending state
  as long as load is applied to the object. The object remains in
  this state until disabled and re-enabled.
  

Local fix

• Disable and enable the SQL Data Source object.
  

Problem summary

• Affected is use of an Oracle database.
  
  A SQL data source remains down after the box has experienced a
  connection problem.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fix is available in 5.0.0.12, 6.0.0.6 and 6.0.1.2.
