APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Tivoli Storage Manager Server 6.3 enables the DB2 INTRA_PARALLEL
  configuration parameter. This leads to performance decrease,
  addressed in APAR IC82940.
  But this APAR does not reset the INTRA_PARALLEL configuration
  parameter to the previous default value, automatically.
  This leads to performance decrease also on Tivoli Storage
  Manager 6.3.2
  and higher servers containing the fix for APAR IC82940 when they
  were
  updated from server 6.3.0.x or 6.3.1.x.

Local fix

• Halt the Tivoli Storage Manager server and run the following
  commands
  from the DB2 commandline:
  db2 attach to <TSM server instance>
  db2 update dbm cfg using INTRA_PARALLEL NO
  db2 terminate
