Error description

  • A Tivoli Storage Manager server utilizing the Tivoli Storage
Manager for z/OS Media server reported the following:

ANR1401W Mount request denied for volume ABC001 - mount failed.
ANR0525W Transaction failed for session 793 for node USER01
          (Linux86) - storage media inaccessible.

When trace classes PVRNERROR and PVRNOPEN are active on the
Tivoli Storage Manager server, trace entries will show the
following at the time the failure is reported:

                     z/OS MS OPEN completes after 1 attempts
                     with rc = -1:-3 rsn= 110.

                     Return & rsn code from ANRioctl -3 110.
