Error description

• Modifications made to configuration objects which are also
  included in a pattern might be overwritten if the pattern is
  deployed to the same
  domain as the original configuration object. Exposed
  configuration object references do not get renamed during
  deployment, so when a
  configuration object of the same type with the same name exists
  in both the pattern and the target domain, the configuration
  object in the
  target domain might be overwritten with the configuration object
  from the pattern.
  

Local fix

• Don't use similarly named configuration objects.
  

Problem summary

• Modifications made to configuration objects which are also
  included in a pattern may be clobbered if the pattern is
  deployed to the same domain as the original configuration
  object.
  
  The pattern contains a copy of all referenced configuration
  objects selected during pattern authoring. Exposed configuration
  object references do not get renamed during deployment, so if a
  configuration object of the same type with the same name exists
  in both the pattern and the target domain, the one in the target
  domain will be overwritten with the one contained in the
  pattern.
