  • ON a VLDB environment after customers add/reduce the node number
    and run redistribute command the DB2 instance could crash at
    function sqlucCDoublyLinkedList due to a rare time hole.

Local fix

  • Restart the instance and issuing redistribute command again.
    That could avoid that timing hole.

  • This APAR is first fixed on the DB2 v9.7fp4
    

Temporary fix

  • Restart the instance and issuing redistribute command again.
