  Run CATIA (AL2 and or AL3 license)
  1. Create a Part
  2. Create a Pad
  3. Add a material (steel, Bronze.....)
  4. Save the CATPart on file system
  5. Close it
  6. Reopen the CATpart

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION V5R21 GA level.

  Incident Diagnosis:
  ABQMaterialPropertiesCatalog.CATfct is missing when opening a
  CATpart.
  Technical explanation of the defect:
  ABQMaterialPropertiesCatalog.CATfct is missing when opening a
  CATpart.
  Technical explanation of the correction:
  The problem has started because, since R20 SP2 AFC material
  has been added to
  Catalog.CATMaterial. So when ever a material from this
  catalog is applied on any Part, AFC
  material gets instantiated in part document. So when such
  Part document is opening it looks
  for catalog/startup/schema of all features present in the
  document. So it also search for
  catalog/startup of AFC material. But with limited license
  this catalog is not present. So AFC
  material catalog could not be found.
  Now this AFC material catalog is moved from AFC framework to
  GPS framwork. This will ensure
  availability of AFC material catalog with basic license.
  Possible by-pass and/or correction limitation:
  The msg can be ignored. It is not fatal.
  .
  Note about solution on V5R20:
  The solution needs a packaging change which can not be done
  on a service pack level and hence the problem has been fixed
  only on V5R21 level.
