Guide to fixes

The Guide to fixes pages are divided into topic categories to help you locate specific information more easily.  If you are new to working with fixes on IBM i or Power systems servers, you will find the Fix terminology and Frequently asked questions (FAQ) pages very helpful to get you started.

The Server maintenance pages provide details and topics on keeping your server current and recommendations on creating or updating your fix maintenance strategy. The Work with fixes pages include topics from viewing the fix inventory on your server, to downloading and installing fixes, along with links to detailed instructions for various tasks.

Many resources and tools are available at no charge through IBM Systems Support to help you in maintaining fixes on your server. If you have a Support Line contract, or purchase your software through IBM Program Services, you may have access to additional functions, depending on your entitlement and contractual agreement with IBM.
