Troubleshooting
Problem
This document provides information about changing the command default for the member size parameter of the CRTPF command.
Resolving The Problem
Because the member size has several values, it is not easy to change the command default for the member size parameter of the CRTPF command. To change the default CRTPF command, on the operating system command line, type the following:
CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTPF) NEWDFT('size(*NOMAX *N *N)')
Press the Enter key.
To display "0" on the new command for the Increment number of records and Maximum increments parameters and being that both of them are part of the SIZE parameter, the following two commands are needed:
CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTPF) NEWDFT('size(*N 0 0)')
CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTPF) NEWDFT('size(*NOMAX *N *N)')
CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTPF) NEWDFT('size(*NOMAX *N *N)')
Press the Enter key.
To display "0" on the new command for the Increment number of records and Maximum increments parameters and being that both of them are part of the SIZE parameter, the following two commands are needed:
CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTPF) NEWDFT('size(*N 0 0)')
CHGCMDDFT CMD(CRTPF) NEWDFT('size(*NOMAX *N *N)')
