Application of this PTF may disable or render ineffective programs that
use system memory addresses not generated by the IBM translator,
including programs that circumvent control technology designed to limit
interactive capacity to purchased levels. This PTF may be a prerequisite
for future PTFs. By applying this PTF you authorize and agree to the
foregoing.
This PTF is subject to the terms of the license agreement which
accompanied, or was contained in, the Program for which you are obtaining
the PTF. You are not authorized to install or use the PTF except as part
of a Program for which you have a valid Proof of Entitlement.
SUBJECT TO ANY WARRANTIES WHICH CAN NOT BE EXCLUDED OR EXCEPT AS EXPLICITLY
AGREED TO IN THE APPLICABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT OR AN APPLICABLE SUPPORT

The applicable license agreement may have been provided to you in printed
form and/or may be viewed using the Work with Software Agreements (WRKSFWAGR)
CL command.
APAR Error Description / Circumvention
-------------------------------------------------
It is important to keep all systems in a BRMS network at the
same level of BRMS PTFs.
Fixes included in this PTF may reference enhancements. More
information on these enhancements can be found on the BRMS wiki:
ibm.biz/ibmi-brms
Fixes in this PTF:
1. In 7.2 and later, batch parallel restores of a multiple
member file using WRKOBJBRM may not restore all the members.
2. In 7.2 and later, *ALLUSR backup of an IASP takes a long time
during BRMS outfile processing and the job log contains many
MSGCPC221C.
3. In 7.2 and later, BRMS cloud backups with a control group
named with the prefix QCLDBIPL using more than 16 volumes may
fail with MSGOPT1494.
4. In 7.2 and later, parallel backups using device *MEDCLS not
selecting the device with the most expired volumes.
5. In 7.2 and later, BRMS has been enhanced to support the IBM
DSI VTL iSCSI device as a cloud backup solution using NFS.
6. In 7.2 and later, STRMNTBRM is calling QICC delete API twice
to remove expired cloud volumes.
7. In 7.2 and later, SQL service QUSRBRM.MEDIA_INFO view fails
with MSGQRY2283, MSGCPD4019, or MSGSQL0181 for records with date
fields earlier than the year 2000.
8. In 7.2 and later, DUPMEDBRM completes successfully but may
incorrectly report MSGBRM0004 with reason code 14.
CORRECTION FOR APAR 'SE74833' :

Load and apply this PTF.
Note: When loading BRMS PTFs, the system needs to be out of
FlashCopy mode for the PTF to apply.
To verify the FlashCopy status of a system is *END, enter the
following command:
CALL PGM(QBRM/Q1AOLD) PARM('FLSSYSSTS ' '*DISPLAY')
After the BRMS PTF is installed, do the following to enable the
BRMS plug-in for the IBM Navigator for i (web browser).
Enable the BRMS plug-in for the IBM Navigator for i.
Note: ending the http admin servers may affect other non-BRMS
users.
From System i:
1. Enter the command to end the http admin servers:
ENDTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(*ADMIN)
2. Wait for the http admin server jobs to end or terminate
them.
Use command: WRKACTJOB SBS(QHTTPSVR)
3. Restart the http admin servers:
STRTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(*ADMIN)

All BRMS activity must be stopped while this PTF is being applied and
users must signoff and on again before using BRMS after the PTF is
applied.
Note: When loading BRMS PTFs, the systems needs to be out of FlashCopy
mode for the PTF to apply.
To verify the FlashCopy status of a system is *END, enter the following
command:
