APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
When entering a command for the server actions in the toolkit
when generating a package, if spaces are included in the command
it will not be able to be run successfully on the smart business
server when deployed and installed on the box.  This includes
start/stop/restart/status actions.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE39508 :
-----------------------------
The processing of the command will not occur at import/install
time for the package but instead be moved to when the command is
retrieved when an action needs to be performed like
start/stop/restart/status.


CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR SE39508 :

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEM FIXED FOR APAR SE39510 :
-----------------------------------------------
The information on the primary smart cube of the region is out
of sync with the information in IBM Smart Market.  Unpredictable
results may occur.  The most likely way this problem can occur
is when a customer sets up an IBM Smart Cube as a secondary in a
region under the following set of conditions.



1) A smart cube is successfully set up as a secondary smart cube
in a region



2) The customer decides to re-install the smart cube and go
through the set up again (for example, forgot root password,
etc.)



3) The customer has to go to the IBM Smart Business Sales and
Licensing Portal and delete the old smart cube profile and
create a new one



4) The customer runs the Setup Wizard again to setup the
secondary smart cube within 12 hours of deleting the old smart
cube profile (the primary smart cube, like all smart cubes,
retrieves the CPT file every 12 hours)



If this sequence of events happens, the primary smart cube will
end up with duplicate entries in its list of secondary smart
cubes in the region. This could cause some unpredictable things,
most on the primary smart cube. For instance:



1) The secondary smart cube's status staying at "unknown" in the
region status in the Administrator Panel



2) A message indicating "unknown Smart Cube has been detected in
this region." appears in the primary smart cube's message
center.



3) Other unexpected alerts being raised



CORRECTION FOR APAR SE39510 :
-----------------------------
This fix will prevent the region information from getting out of
sync with regard to removing secondary smart cubes (once you
apply this fix, your region information should stay in sync).



If you suspect you have already experienced this problem,
contact IBM Smart Support and they will have a procedure that
will fix the situation.
