Upgrade ZVM730, Subset 2301RSU:

This subset contains service recommendation information for z/VM
VERSION 7, RELEASE 3 MODIFICATION 0 specific to the installation of
the RSU tape.  Service recommendations for all product components
listed in this subset.  Be sure to refer to the RSU subset that
matches the service level of the RSU tape that is to be installed.
PTF service listed in this subset should be applied after the RSU
tape has been loaded.

After the date that this subset is no longer supported, it is
recommended that the latest RSU and corresponding subset be used
when applying new levels of service.

If you are a SoftwareXcel customer and choose not to use the
latest RSU, you can search on HIPER and the applicable component
identifiers (ie COMPONENT ID and RELEASE) to determine the
recommended service that should be ordered.

Installation Information
      The Following Information is for Installation Information:

 1. 23/03/29 Updated Instructions for Installing RSU 7302 (Level 2301)
             Update: An APAR was opened, VM66680, to correct the
             SERVICE ... STATUS errors.  PTF UM90258 that fixes this
             APAR is now available.  BEFORE you install RSU 7302 you
             should order PTF UM90258 and install it.  You can then
             install RSU 7302 as you normally would.

             This is the original problem description and work around:
              There is a problem that is triggered when you run
              SERVICE ALL <fn> for an RSU or for CORrective service
              where there is service for multiple components in one
              service envelope.  The service is installed correctly and
              will be put into production correctly but the status
              records will be corrupted.  For this RSU, the records for
              CP, DIRMAINT and VMHCD will be corrupted.  To avoid this
              corruption, you should install the service one component
              at a time by following these instructions:
               1. Log on to MAINT730
               2. Enter:   SERVICE VMSES <rsu_envelope_name>
               3. Enter:   SERVICE CP <rsu_envelope_name>
               4. Enter:   SERVICE DIRM <rsu_envelope_name>
               5. Enter:   SERVICE VMHCD <rsu_envelope_name>
              You can then proceed with your normal service testing and,
              when you are ready, you can run PUT2PROD as you normally
              would.

              If you already installed RSU 7302 (or you forget and run
              SERVICE ALL) you can correct the status records by doing
              the following commands:
               1. Log on to MAINT730
               2. Enter: SERVICE CP BUILD
               3. Enter: SERVICE DIRM BUILD
               4. Enter: SERVICE VMHCD BUILD
               5. If you had already run PUT2PROD, then you need to run
                  it again now: PUT2PROD
                  If you had already IPLed your system to pick up the
                  new CPLOAD MODULE, you do not need to IPL your system
                  again.
               6. If you had not run PUT2PROD, you can run PUT2PROD and
                  IPL as you normally would to complete your service
                  installation.

              SERVICE CP STATUS ALLAPARS (or status for any individual
              APAR or PTF) should show you the correct status (Received,
              Applied, Built and/or Production)
