Error description

  • A request to collect the IDAA default trace returns with RC 0
although a keyword passed to stored procedure
    ACCEL_CONTROL_ACCELERATOR along with the getTraceData-request
    has the wrong syntax.
The customer has a need to know that the trace was successfully
collected. The expected behavior in case of passing a keyword
that is not recognized would be a WARNING message (may be even
pointing to the keyword that was ignored).

    The stored procedure SYSPROC.ACCEL_CONTROL_ACCELERATOR is
invoked with a getTraceData-request to collect the IDAA
default trace. Although a keyword conveyed with this request
has a wrong syntax the IDAA default trace ends with return
code (RC) 0. The customer has a need to know that the trace
was collected successfully. The expected behavior in case of
passing a keyword that is not recognized would be the issuing
of a WARNING message. It would be appreciated if this message
would point to the keyword that was ignored.
