The FTP client configuration (FTP DATA) file unable to process comments after the ';' (semicolon) on SECURECONTROL and SECUREDATA statements when comments are followed by the 'YES' parameter. . For example, SECURECONTROL YES ; Secure control connection SECUREDATA YES ; Secure data connection . For above configuration on FTP DATA file following messages are displayed when initiating a secured FTP connection. . SECURECONTROL value ; is not valid. Default value used. SECUREDATA value ; is not valid. Default value used. Which is misleading. The above messages should not be displayed for this configuration as the texts after the ';' (semicolon) should be processed as comments.
Local fix
The support is added to handle the comments properly in FTBVMSUB PASCAL part under the 'SecureControlState:' and 'SecureDataState:´routines to fix this issue.
