Error description

  • IDAA LOAD TABLES performance decrease after install of IDAA
7.1.8. It has been identified it happens if the Db2 DDF LOCATION
has less than 5 characters.

or Db2 startup:

DSNL004I  -DB2A DDF START COMPLETE
           LOCATION  DB2A

Local fix

  • updated package for 7.1.8 will be released
report to IBM support if you already upgraded and are exposed to
this issue

Problem summary

  • The issue descibed was fixed in the IDAA V7 accelerator server.
The fix became part of IDAA V7 maintenance level 7.1.8.1.

Problem conclusion

  • Upgrade your IDAA V7 maintenance level to 7.1.8.1 or higher.
