Error description

• Using Db2 12 with DSNHDECP parm APPLCOMPAT set to V12R1M501 or
  higher may cause enabling of replication to fail.
  The error is accompanied by messages:
  a. DSNL076I ...DC1A DSNLXRSS DDF CONNECTION REJECTED DUE TO
     INCOMPATIBLE APPLCOMPAT
  b. AQT20009 Operation
     "EnableReplicationForDatabaseSystemCommand" failed...
  c. com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.SqlException: DB2 SQL Error:
  SQLCODE=-30025, SQLSTATE=56073,
  SQLERRMC=RS22DC1A;DSN12015:*:V12R1M504;0600;0002,
  DRIVER=4.15.82
  The error may occur if the DB2 Connect packages to support a
  new function level have been bound with APPLCOMPAT(V12R1M501)
  or higher.

Local fix

Problem summary

• The JDBC driver delivered with the Access Server component of
  IDAA was updated to meet the requirement of supporting Db2 12
  function level 501 or higher.
  The fix became part of IDAA V7 maintenance level 7.1.8.
  

Problem conclusion

• Upgrade your IDAA V7 maintenance level to 7.1.8 or higher.
