PH12804: LOADING A TABLE USING IDAA LOADER V2.1 MAY RESULT IN AN ERROR INDICATING "HLPPIPE API ERROR"

Error description

  • Loading a table using IDAA loader V2.1 may result in an error
indicating "HLPPIPE API error". The job output shows an IDAA
error message:
"AQT20121E  The load request failed because the following error
 occurred: "An assertion '( false )' failed"
.
The sporadic occurrences of this issue make use of the IDAA
loader unsuitable for production use with IDAA V7 maintenance
level 7.1.7.

Local fix

  • Instead of using the IDAA loader you can use the IDAA-supplied
stored prodecure SYSPROC.ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES to load data to the
accelerator. However, this workaround is not suitable for load
of external data.

Note:
The error will be fixed with IDAA V7.1., maintenance level 7.1.8
