    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CICS Web Support with a host name that *
    * contains an underscore character causes *
    * the request to fail with a 400 BAD *
    *                      REQUEST error message.                  *
    ****************************************************************
    When CICS is processing a URL that contains an underscore,
    DFHWBSR calls a routine that validates the characters in the
    URL. This routine reports that _ is invalid.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHWBSR has been changed to no longer call the code that
    invalidates the underscore.
