  • as shipped rpcgen fails:

it cannot handle "hyper"

Local fix

  • dont use rpcgen that has been renamed from rpcgen_compat
use tirpcgen in 6.1

Problem summary

  • rpcgen command does not recognize or handle the "hyper"
datatype, and throws arror if any "hyper" declaration is
present in the input file.

Problem conclusion

  • Added code to treat "hyper" as a datatype.
