  • openssl 0.9.8.1800 version with sendmail TLS and get
TLS failed in client and server logs.

Errors like this on client:
TLS handshake failed.

And this on server side:
STARTTLS=server: 1175578:error:1409A044:SSL
routines:SSL3_SEND_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:internal error:
s3_srvr.c:2657:
