Error description

  • The sysdumpdev -e command returns a huge, or, negative
    value during
    the tape backup.  For example, run smitty mksysb in one
    session then
    run sysdumpdev -e in another session as below.
    
    # sysdumpdev -e
    0453-041 Estimated dump size in bytes: -60048989277388

Problem summary
