Error description

  • AIX NFSv4 client with z/OS as the NFSv4 server.
When the NFSv4 server returns NFS4ERR_FHEXPIRED error the
AIX client could get in to an endless loop trying to
recover from the FHEXPIRED error. Customer will see the
n4bg threads taking up CPU on the AIX system, and could
also see performance problems on the z/OS server, due to
the heavy traffic from the AIX client.
This is similar to the problem already fixed in IV45625,
    but
the code path is now in COMMIT calls versus WRITE calls.
