APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In a PowerHA cluster after RG migration which includes
    NFS
cross mount directory, several nodes of cluster can't
    access NFS directory.
The mount point isn't reflected in ls command output.
    It gives the error,

    # ls -la /
    /nfsmnt not found

This happens when tcp_fastlo network option is enabled

Local fix

  • Disable tcp_fastlo network option

Problem summary

  • Start tcp communication between two IP's in a machine with
enabling tcp_fastlo. Now the communication will still happen
even after removing the IP or routes to the destination.

Problem conclusion

  • Send data to destination IP only when the route & the interface
status of the destination is UP. If no route found, then fastlo
will check for alternate route to send the data otherwise
fastlo will log an error trace message.

Temporary fix
