APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • An etherchannel without backup adapter with all primary
adapters in link down state will log ECH_MAIN_CHAN_FAIL.
When at least one primary adapter gets the link up, the
etherchannel will be active and running, but there is
    no errpt message.
That means that looking only into the errpt will lead
to the wrong conclusion that the etherchannel is still
    down.
