APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Very long UDID (length >= 68) may not display properly
in lspv -u and can be merged with the UUID

Local fix

Problem summary

  • For long UDID values (over 68 characters), lspv -u will mash
UDID and UUID together without leaving even a space separating
    them.
This can make it difficult to distinguish between
UDID and UUID in the output.

Problem conclusion

  • Add a guaranteed space between UDID and UUID.
