Error description

  • If there are a lot of route commands (e.g. >400) at the system
    boot time, sometimes route command will fail. If you retry to
    run the command again later, route command will succeed.

  • If there are a lot of route commands (e.g. >400) at the system
    boot time, sometimes route command will fail. If you retry to
    run the command again later, route command will succeed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • When net_malloc() request with M_NOWAIT flag, it borrows memory
    from 128K bytes bucket, and this available entries on the
    freelist is less than the lower water mark value, wake up
    "netm" thread to replenish more memory.
