Problem conclusion
This problem is fixed in 5.1.2.15 To see all Spectrum Scale APARs and their respective Fix solutions refer to page: https://public.dhe.ibm.com/storage/spectrumscale/spectrum_scale_ apars.html Benefits of the solution: Fixed the code by providing the new config option afmDisableReaddirOpt at fileset level. When this option is set at the first level cache fileset, readdir optimization is disabled and new files are fetched from the home during the readdir and lookup. Work around: None Problem trigger: AFM cascading relationship with AFM+COS fileset. Symptom: Unexpected Results Platforms affected: All Linux OS environments Functional Area affected: AFM Customer Impact: High Importance
