APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When mmbackup generates policy rule to select backup candidates,
it composites pathname list using snapshot name in snapshot
backup case.  In fileset backup, mmbackup treats snapshot as
fileset snapshot unconditionally even though the snapshot is
global snapshot. Hence, generated pathname is incorrect.

Local fix

  • use fileset snapshot for fileset backup
