APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Upgraded WebSphere 8.5.5 to Fix Pack 23 (8.5.5.23). That release
includes fix for WebSphere APAR PH46257, and updating the FIPS
provider to IBMJCEPlusFIPS.

Required to update \WebSphere\AppServer\java\jre\lib\security\j
ava.security\java.securityto utilize FIPS Plus.

Maximo startup fails with  error
"maximo.security.getDefaultApplicationSessionKeys - BMXAA6736E -
A valid session key could not be generated. Ensure that the
correct key is passed.
java.security.InvalidParameterException: Prime size must be at
least 2048."
