Customer saw poor performance for a large data copy in NFS. The problem shows as a mutex contention issue.
Local fix
A workaround to lower the impact would be to decrease the number of workerThreads.
Problem summary
When there are multiple threads trying to flush the same file and the file is large with many blocks, there could be mutex contention which can lead to performance degradation.
