Error description

  • Nodes move to inactive state after performing continuous DARE
operations. This behavior is observed after performing 29 verify
 & sync operations with default ulimit values (max allowed 2000
file descriptors)

Problem summary


    

  • PowerHA nodes are haltred after performing continuous DARE
operations. This behavior may be observed after performing
around 30 continous verify and sync operations with default
ulimit values(max allowed 2000 file descriptors per process).

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Modified code to close the unused file descriptors after its
use.
