DY47811: SIR COMMAND SHOWS VSE/POWER 9.4.0 DY-BASE 01/01/1900 WHILE VSE/POWER AUTOSTART IS ON HOLD WAITING FOR OPERATOR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When VSE/POWER startup is haltet by invalid AUTOSTART card,
  e.g. FORMAT QUEUES=
  SIR command will show placeholder for VSE/POWER level instead
  of actual level.

  When SIR command is issued during VSE/POWER startup before
  VSE/POWER queue file has been opened, VSE/POWER level
  information will be shown as
  VSE/POWER 9.4.0 DY-BASE 01/01/1900
  

Problem conclusion

• Code to update VSE/POWER level is now executed by IPW$$I2
  before AUTOSTART statements are executed.
