Db2 is vulnerable to a denial of service. Db2 could allow an authenticated user to execute a function that would cause the server to crash.

Affected Products and Versions

Db2 and up on all platforms are affected. Db2 iFix 002 and earlier, Db2 10.5, Db2 10.1, and Db2 9.7 are not affected.


The recommended solution is to apply the appropriate fix for this vulnerability.


Customers running any vulnerable fixpack level of an affected Program, V11.1, can download the special build containing the interim fix for this issue from Fix Central. These special builds are available based on the most recent fixpack level for each impacted release: V11.1.4.4 iFix001. They can be applied to any affected fixpack level of the appropriate release to remediate this vulnerability.
